In which case I'll hold my hands up. In truth I never read or listen to any of them, it's only what's posted on here and they seem to be lumped in with the rest.

The two you mention there are the kind of wise guys I'm referring to. They never say anything you can't read on here or hear at the match ...

... but they make it sound like they're speaking from a higher plane than the rest of us.

RR are the only ones I ever look at, they're not without their faults but Christ they seem like they have some perspective compared to the others.

If we lose against Plymouth, Wise Men Say will be all over everyone saying "See we told you we needed a striker", "see we told you RLB was the cheap option", "see we told you Dodds and Proctor were the problem".

They'll be vindictive about it as well. Quote tweeting other fans who are being positive telling them and their followers how wrong the person is and how right they are.

For balance, ALS are probably the best. They do often present both sides of an argument but often reach balanced a conclusion. And a lot of the time, their content is just news, without the spin and the hot takes.

This was my first thought when I read the report in the N. Echo this morning, with "I thought we had 6 now?".

I agree it’s important for a manager/head coach to work with his own staff but RLB has said for a while that he will only add staff he feels will contribute and improve the current set up.

The outrage because this didn’t happen straight away was beyond pathetic. People were going off it because Dodds and Proctor were within a metre of the technical area against Sheffield Wednesday, a game we won 4-0.

Proctor has been praised for his set piece training and Dodds is well liked by the players.

if he sees Dodds and proctor as useful then I’ve always been for them to stay only if they were wanted

There was a rumour, going round the internet, that Dodds had spoken to the manager during the game. People were so outraged they engaged a professional lip reader to find out if he'd been relaying instructions from Speakman ...

... turned out is was, 'Did you want a biscuit with your halftime cuppa Reg?' <laugh>

Obviously,I'm guessing, but is it not beyond reason that D & P,as they know most of these players so well, have been able to give RLB such a good insight into their character and their skills, that he's been more easily able to mould them into the way he wants them to play? Seems a great team effort to me.

I for one am flabbergasted that Dodds offered some advice as a part of his coaching staff. How dare he

I noticed Danny Rohl spent more time chatting to his coaches than watching the game ...

Really interesting this. Especially the part where Neil talks about how under previous coaches the attacking play was get the ball to our best players and 'hopefully they can go do damage', whereas it's more structured under RLB.

It was clear as day in the first season under Mowbray as well really. It was pretty effective, due to the quality of our best attacking players, really enjoyable to watch but relatively chaotic really.

When Roberts, Amad and Clarke were firing, we were pretty tough to stop. Some great memories
