I don't blame Toney one bit personally. 6 years ago he probably thought he'd never play in the Premier League but he was able to. He's achieved more than he possibly thought he might in that regard. And now his salary has rocketed.

Same here but it’s just a shame, isn’t it? He’s more than capable of scoring goals in the PL and other top leagues. Played a part in England reaching the Euros final.

**** Saudi Arabia.

Genuine question for anyone on here, has anyone watched a Saudi game? I don't know anyone who has, or if they have they haven't mentioned it. Real shame to see some of the talent that has went there.

No but as I do with most leagues in the world, I check results/lineups/goalscorers

Al-Hilal won the league by 14 points last season and are top after just 2 games this season

Their squad includes: Koulibaly. Milinkovic-Savic. Ruben Neves. Mitrovic.

That’s just one team, never mind Benzema and Ronaldo who play elsewhere

There’s some top footballers now playing out there. A lot of people don’t realise how many. Some of my mates couldn’t believe some of the talent over there now when I made a point of it.

One of my mates watches it as hes a huge Ronaldo fan, says its shocking. He says its so slow and the gulf of quality between players on the same team are huge

Says its such a poor standard

Haven't seen a lot of it, but I saw a little bit a while back and I'd definitely agree with that.

I imagine the gulf is huge- genuine world class footballers at one end albeit perhaps past their best and lads that wouldn’t get a game in league two.

They still play in empty stadiums and the fillers for the teams wouldn’t get games in league 2.

It’s China 2.0 absolute ****e.

You’re right there. Most sub benches are filled with Saudi Arabian lads who’ve only ever known that league.

The transfer window is still open in a few foreign leagues/countries

I hope none of our superstars are targeted :emoticon-0102-bigsm
