A baby striker with 60 seconds of men’s football in his career. Just not good enough
Hopefully Mayenda and Wilson score today and it goes some way towards convincing you otherwise.

It’s all on Isidor. Big gamble by the club to pocket the Clarke money
False 9 here we come.
At least 2 out of the 4 are robust, experienced players, who will add serious competition to the first 11.
I agree it is a failure to an extent, but we’ve obviously tried for a forward with more experience. In a market that sees Stanfield go for what he has(I wouldn’t have wanted him for that amount), it’s a gamble that could easily lead to another Grigg situation which the current owners obviously aren’t prepared to take and rightly so imo.Agreed. Not great at all with so much money from Clarke and absolute peanuts spent. Was a time to really have a look and show some intent. Top of the league and 35k season tickets holders.
With a20 match day squad I think we shall see themOut of interest… which first team players will at most risk with the new signings
I assume they all were not happy to be just squad players.. I’m guessing some were brought in for first team duty..
Wilson will just be played there. Have to hope he can do it.
You make it sound like he was brought in as a full back ...
... he reckons he's a striker, one of you is wrong.
Yup. I’d love to know what is stopping the us from signing an experienced striker. It can’t just be moneyWilson will just be played there. Have to hope he can do it.
You know the answer. It's been said many times.Yup. I’d love to know what is stopping the us from signing an experienced striker. It can’t just be money
He has played wide left lots.
Many safc fans wanted the club to show some ambition and sign a striker who is experienced that we own.
We have waited 3 years for this.
Instead we have a loan player, who can play there and also plays on the left. With a young player who has 57 seconds of senior experience to his name.
This is what many were worried about and what we have done in the past with the likes of Hemir and Burstow.
With the sale of Clarke and the funds received, it's absolutely fair to say the club should have delivered a more experienced number 9 who safc own.
If they score the goals that get us promoted. What does it matter who owns them?

Because history has shown they dont and the 9 has been out Achilles heel for 3 years.
Here we are again. Still hoping instead of looking at something and thinking we have stepped up in the market. It's a familiar story and one that we shouldn't be reading.
History has shown who don't?
