Dykes is one of those players you really want to like and do well. As our our main striker his goal tally was abysmal.
It makes perfect sense to get a reasonable amount of cash for him and I genuinely with him well at Brum.
Yeah, you couldn't argue that he'd been a success in terms of goals, but I kind of liked him as a player. Much better than Frey in my opinion.
3 in 13 according to wikipediaMmm. I’ve a feeling Frey’s goal scoring ratio will be better. Time will tell.
A bit of a strange one. I would have thought further cover at left back would have been a priority. The pessimist in me is wondering if JCS might be going and MC is considering putting Dunne back into the middleThus is from West London Sport usually a reliable source.
QPR look set to sign right-back Harrison Ashby on loan from Newcastle before the transfer window closes on Friday.
The 22-year-old joined Newcastle from West Ham for £3m in January last year.
He is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Magpies and was on loan at Swansea City last season.
Born in Milton Keynes, Ashby was on Chelsea’s books before joining West Ham and is a Scotland Under-21 international.
Rangers head coach Marti Cifiuentes has been keen for the club to strengthen at right-back.
Hevertton Santos was signed earlier this summer but Cifuentes has continued to deploy Jimmy Dunne in the role.
That's exactly my thoughts plus we have Santos, who did OK the other day.A bit of a strange one. I would have thought further cover at left back would have been a priority. The pessimist in me is wondering if JCS might be going and MC is considering putting Dunne back into the middle
Dunne's going upfront.A bit of a strange one. I would have thought further cover at left back would have been a priority. The pessimist in me is wondering if JCS might be going and MC is considering putting Dunne back into the middle
Harrison Ashby a Newcastle RB set to join on loan, Rb thought we needed a LB
Isn’t today deadline day? And JCS played 45 minutes on Tuesday so presumably no one was seriously after him two days ago. We also have Liam Morrison at CB, who played the whole game on Tuesday and looked fine to me.A bit of a strange one. I would have thought further cover at left back would have been a priority. I'd say we need cover in both full back positions. Could do with 1 of each. A backup for Dunne and someone to send Paal to the bench. He was at Swansea last season on loan and their fans don’t hold him in any high regard whatsoever.
Forgot Santos played that position. He is quite young but maybe good enough to be the backup?I'd say we need cover in both full back positions. Could do with 1 of each. A backup for Dunne and someone to send Paal to the bench.
I think he can’t play or we can’t play him until he settles his differences with Boavista his former club because he walked out breaking his contract without going through the proper process. He is meant to pay a large fine and apparently there is an appeal going on. Technically he might not be our player. What’s the latest with Reggie Canon? Wasn’t he supposed to be a right back?
)why Birmingham? Bet his family are thoroughly p!ssed-off about this. Been there once or twice, sometimes thought I was in Calcutta.![]()

£100m Euro's tonight. Draws at 10:30, deadline window closes at 11.
Which player am I calling at 10:35?
Bellingham's injured and we've already got one crooked midfielder.
Any suggestions?
