Strange signing and bet we’ve had to spend a few quid for that ‘mutual’ consent. Was really highly rated before he came to us and the thinking was we only got close to signing him because of his Boavista situation. Turns out he’s ****e.

HARRISON Ashby has joined QPR on loan from Newcastle United.
The 22-year-old right back will remain in W12 for the duration of the 2024/25 season.

Ashby, who came through the ranks at West Ham United before moving to St. James’ Park in January 2023, is relishing the opportunity to progress his career in west London.

“There is only one place that I wanted to come and I am really excited for what’s ahead,” Ashby said.

He’s the son of former footballer Barry Ashby who is from Park Royal. Perhaps he’s a fan based on that quote.
