Hearing eze has been sold to Spurs.
Do not believe it tbh...as the price is too low.

So just reporting

Someone who knows someone, yeah I know but I’m not in the know said:-
Dykes didn’t want to go, wife and kids settled, Marti didn’t want him m to go but the people higher than Dykes and Marti wanted it to get his wages off the bill, sold for 1 1/2 m. He was currently one of the top earners

That makes sense, why would they have given him the No 9 shirt if there was any chance of him going anywhere?

Maybe looking at it wrongly, but he didn’t look too happy and from a football point of view, doesn’t make sense

I’d argue it’s a good business decision. Not first choice but on first choice wages, depreciating in value, reasonable fee offered from one of the few teams that would both want him and pay him at least what he’s on.

I mean it doesn’t make sense for Dykes. At 28 you shouldn’t be dropping down a division

Unless you’re too crap to get into the team. He’ll be back at this level next year anyway. More money probably or at least a longer contract. Apart from having to move the family it’s not such a raw deal for him or he wouldn’t have taken it.
