Cannon has always seemed unlikely to me considering he'll have most of the championship after him. Simic is arguably easier in that regard, as whilst he will have other interest abroad, at least we'll be the only championship club.

I hope we have options here. Great to be targeting higher quality. They do have more suitors of course. We need to get a CF over the line and all the linked ones have uncertainty at this stage it seems.
