I suspect that Walter has highlighted that the keeper and DM are the most important roles in his system and that he agreed to Raccioppi (sp) as a back up to Pandur but now feels that neither of them is comfortable enough with the ball at feet to get the best out of the system.
Only time will tell, only time will tell !!!! Nothing more to ad, except maybe that I dropped a crowbar on my right foot yesterday while taking the old beds apart to take to tip Two months ago I broke the big toe on my left foot, in the Norm’s world of possible positivity I could of ****ed them both up together instead of just hobbling on one foot, then two months later, the other foot, see every cloud and all that…. Mind you get absolutely no sympathy in this bloody house… just the butt of everyone’s jokes…for two months ..lol
If we get promoted - then 'everything made sense' because the team / squad worked and achieved the prime goal.
Whilst I agree. If we get promoted then it doesn't matter so much. We would probably just throw the fee at Rushworth at that stage
If that’s the case and we sign another keeper then one of Pandur or Racioppi needs to go out on loan.
You’d imagine it would be Racioppi after the start, that just makes us look very amateur if we do that though.
So our squad will look like this (non bold players will probably be loaned out): Goalkeepers: Pandur Raccioppi Rushworth TLT Cartwright LB: Giles Jacob New guy RB: L. Coyle Drameh CB: Jones McLoughlin Burns Hughes Cooper Smith Ashbee Leake CM: Zambrano Meffert Puerta Slater Simons New Guy R. Coyle Tinsdale LW: Millar Sinik RW: Longman Jarvis New Guy AM: Omur Mehlem Vaughan ST: Bedia Burstow New Guy Sellars-Fleming Hall That gives us 28, assuming there are no outgoings from the bold selections and that the ones not in bold don't end up going out on loan or leaving. I don't think that's overly bloated and gives plenty of competition for places.
You'll get little sympathy here either, now hop it. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Yeah one of the new signings is supposed to be a left back. If we only had Giles and Jacob I'd be concerned. Jacob hasn't settled into this new system and they want to get him out on loan for league experience, which would just leave Giles and an out of position Lewie Coyle.
Interesting. Just hadn't seen it mentioned elsewhere. I do agree one was needed I just thought the club was ignoring it
Woods was a lemon, prob the lemon of all lemons above Sinik.....Oscar, we've prob taken a bit of a hit on him, though his first season you could put a case forwards to say that without his goals we may have gone down, so we at least got some ROI in that first year.
