Either of them ironically. Prob do some dodgy deal to help their finances and some funky accounting to get the wages off the books
I doubt either give a rats ass about wages at this point.
I think both are seeing this as pure convenience to get a "30 mil" ffs bonus in by valuing these cast offs like that and I'm sure both fully intend to sell the player in the end.

Why doesn’t it make sense? We have no RW cover, is a player we’ve obviously been tracking for many years and is now available at bargain price and has a year of football under his belt after a bad injury.

He can play both though and well. It's one that I'm not too bothered either way but one thing is certain we need a RW we don't have cover for Salah.
We are not playing right foot, right wing. We are still inverting wingers.
So it doesn't make much sense when you've supposedly two lws in situ already..unless of course one is actually leaving
I said we will see as those who keep pushing it have been joined by ornstein who doesn't just lump on in hope.

Based on what? 2 games, where we’ve had Salah fit and he’s the only right winger in the squad? Ok… means we can’t ever have a right footed player on the right then.
This is what I think. I really don't see Ali leaving just yet, but I've thought for a while now that Kelleher has had enough as deputy and wants regular football. He's certainly good enough.
It wouldn't surprise me if there's been talk behind the scenes and we've been planning ahead here.

There's not one traditional winger into he top clubs. They are all inverted. Just about every top team in Europe works this way.

i would argue that is something we haven't done but in a number of cases should have .

Chiesa deal almost done according to Fabrizio Romano. If it happens at £12m and reportedly close to £100k week, looks a good deal. Had his best season last season after bad injury.
With regard to Alisson, he's just done an interview saying he's very happy at the club, turned down an approach from Saudi, was asked about Mamardashvili before the transfer and hopes to be here for many years.
