Can’t see him going Barca. They can’t even register olmo yet let alone him

About £13m and 80k a week wages. Pretty
much the Clarke money and carvahlo/clarkes wages combined for a 26 year old internarional who was the star player in a Italian winning euro team 3 years ago. One injury since but 9 goals in 33 games last year.

Seems a bit of a no brainer there.
Total no brainer.........experience,versatility and not the only player to have had a serious knee injury <whistle>

Realistically tomorrow and Thursday are our deadline days.

There's no player in England we really want so the dealine day is about shovelling out pmauers we don't want on loan or sales.

To get a proper deal over the line needs travel and medicals so if we don't hear it in the next 48 hours it ain't happening

The total lack of progress on the key contracts will be judged alongside the progress in the market.

Promised a crescendo.

I wonder what the plan is? Kelleher leaves next season and he comes in then under Allison?

Would make sense. Or if Kelleher stays, send him out on loan to a prem club for a year (something we couldn’t do this summer) and then understudy Ali for a year and re-asses. Think Alisson has 3 years left so would then be in final year of contract and he’ll be ready to take over if contract not extended.

Chiesa one looks like it has some legs this time round.

Low risk, high reward. Proper cover for Salah even as back up for a year. Can’t be a bad one that.

Played a lot of games last year. Scored goals. Travels with the ball very well. Would give us a different option at RW being right footed - likely to keep the width more
