Meffert, Walters lynchpin at Hamburg; striker who will underline ambition isn't going to be some punt in a youngster, Cooper as experienced CB, experienced Keeper etc...
You seem to be arguing they should be doing this but in the same breath dismissing it as folly.
It probably is what the club probably does after all it is in their interest, but does not mean we can’t question certain things to understand why they are doing it.
I am not arguing at all maybe some should understand what arguing is.

'Its what the fans want' instead of making a sensible third choice keeper like most clubs
Getting a third keeper in means we can loan out both Cartwright and TLT for the season, getting them vital minutes and experience. Doncaster want TLT back, that'll probably sanctioned when the keeper comes in. I expect Grimsby will take Cartwright back as well, though it would be nice if both of them could get experience higher up the pyramid. Still, them playing is what is most important.
We have a 3rd choice Tim they just need to give him experience so he can get used to it in training he did ok on loan.
It means you're saying they're good without any decent weight of evidence.
To me they look error prone but with undoubted potential.

Wonder if Tom Heaton is the one they're after, he was used by England at the Euros as a training keeper, that's got to be worth the insight.
He's probably been the best keeper we've had in the current era. The clamour for him from supporters 12 months ago was down to how he performed over that half season.
No one would be unhappy with Darlow, I just don’t think people understand why we need him. If we’d signed him instead of Racioppi then fine.
Acun’s raved about pandur (who hasn’t done much wrong since the season started)
Racioppi Won’t have come to be possible 3rd choice.
