Keep playing like we are and there’ll be less than 8 defeats and probably automatic promotion. This isn’t delusional, we should’ve been two up before we scored yesterday. When Burnley were on top in the second half they didn’t hurt us and I don’t recall Patto pulling us out of the ****.
I’ve probably drank more than the op is on. :emoticon-0118-yawn:

I can remember posting last season saying how one dimensional we were, I said it was one of the reasons Mowbray got the sack.
We were so easy to play against. Stop the wingers and we were completely ****ed.
Teams knew all we did was get the ball out to Clarke and Roberts, 99 times out of a 100 they would cut inside on to their favoured foot.
This season we had scored so many different types of goals.
Set pieces, from down either wing but to me most importantly through the middle, that is something we never did.
It must be so much harder for opposition teams doing their planning against us.
If they stop us one way then we switch play and hit them from a different angle.
We have got goals throughout this team and its becoming very exciting

Good points, so looking forward to our next game

I feel really confident about the Plymouth game which in itself makes me uneasy (oxy moron I know). Really weird thing to say but as a Sunderland fan I think most will know exactly what I mean lol <laugh>
Plymouth are not going to be the pushovers that everyone expected them to be under Rooney after that Sheff Weds game. By all accounts they've shown decent and steady improvement in each game since and were a little unlucky not to be a couple of goals up before Stoke scored (most Stoke fans had their keeper as their man of the match which tells you a lot).

Play like we have and we should have enough to beat them relatively comfortably but obviously need to guard against complacency.

Can't remember seeing PR going with his right foot for crosses instead of cutting back inside.
That move got our second goal in Saturday. Fullbacks don t know which way he's going to go now which has to be a good thing.

Can I just say that Sunderland supporters believing we'll win at Plymouth can't 'jinx' us ...

... if you don't believe in God, the tooth fairy or Santa Claus, as an adult, how could you possibly believe in a jinx.

And don't tell me not to get carried away as if that affects you, the results or anything else.

Football is entirely irrational and meaningless, if you accept your reality don't deny me mine.
