I stopped listening a couple of seasons back when that Chris the accountant called Sunderland fans stupid.
I stopped listening too having previously loved it. I just find it so tedious and negative now, always banging the same drum and moaning for sake of moaning. We all have gripes but it's good to have balance and understand the nuances of situations
Used to really enjoy their podcasts, but they made being critical of Speakman their entire personality a few years back and it's been dogshite ever since. Joyless humps. And they're intelligent lads so their wilful ignorance of how modern football works is very much a conscious choice.
Quite happy to say I’ve never watched to any of these new YouTubers fans accounts nor listened to any podcasts by these people. they mostly come across as self indulgent arseholes who think they know what the fanbase is thinking. They are mostly negative tossers imo.
The flick he attempted that resulted in O9 "assisting" Mayenda for the 2nd goal was a joke. I'd be raging if one of our players did that
As far back as 2016 they were throwing out the "don't listen then" line to folk. Around that time they had George "I used to be a proper journo" Caulkin on to give his views on SAFC. I suggested that this clear and obvious mag wouldn't be the best person to give opinions on our club, I got told not to bother listening... Highly strung sums them up...
Why are people so confident Mendy will sign this week? We were "confident" he'd sign last week but didn't. Personally I think it will go right down to the deadline. Probably sign on the 29th.
As far as price negotiations are concerned with Mendy, I believe that Mayenda scoring yesterday has massively helped our cause, 'cos it must now look like we're not as much in need of him as Caen (and Mbappe) previously thought . . . . the pressure on us is definitely less than it was
If you are a striker youd want to play in that team Last season we were so slow n predictable in the final 3rd but not yesterday. Wingers knowing when to cut inside or when to go on the outside, AMs breaking into the box, fullbacks getting forward and a team looking to play at pace
Awful bunch them. Wasn't long ago one of them was complaining about the "toxic positivity" of fans because they weren't having a full blown meltdown over the manager search
It's funny because it's a bit chicken and egg, but there's a suggestion from some that our wingers don't cross ball because there's no-one in the box to cross to. Mayenda showed yesterday how simple football can be with a late run into the box to tap in the cross. We have so much ability on the wings with the inverted wingers and good balance with Cirkin and Hume that you'd assume any striker worth his salt would thrive in this set up.
Caen's replacement was in the stands on Saturday, also RLB said he is confident of success on the striker front in the next few days
