According to what measure? How many died in 1976?

If we are going to be policing social media for fake news, we should be looking at main stream media too.

The figures for deaths used to support ULEZ are demonstrably wrong, and have their origins in an American study, which itself had added caveats which make them unsuitable for the claims made. Those figures where then looked at by COMEAP in their own studies, and they also said their figures were not to be used in the way they were presented, but they are still presented in that way.

Any public body or journalist should know this, or at least have taken the time to find out. Likewise, the 97% of scientists agreeing is not an accurate claim.

70,000 in 1976 apparently, but it was in fewer countries, as the heat wasn't so widespread.

I've no idea how they calculated the numbers I posted, but they came from a report by the Barcelona Institute for Global Health.

As I said, without knowing how they generated those figures, they need to be treat with caution. That's not tin foil stuff, it's just simple facts from long experience.

It was covid heat as well
Just sold a Jaguar to a cardio specialist, he drives around 30,000 miles a year visiting numerous hospitals, I had an interesting conversation with him around Covid jabs and their after effects, he also informed me that many people that were put on ventilators shouldn’t have been, and that in many cases being put onto a ventilator actually killed many patients. He also informed me that he knows of many cardio specialists that wouldn’t have the jab due to not knowing the long term effects, and that it actually altered your dna.

Don’t shoot the messenger, I’m just passing on snippets of a conversation that I had with a very highly regarded expert in the field of cardiology.

It altered your DNA..... Please tell me he's not actually allowed near people

Was he called Karen?

It’s strange isn’t, I simply pass on what I considered parts of an interesting conversation that I had with a clearly very intelligent and successful individual and, hey presto, out come the sarky comments.

Oh and OLM the ‘Karen’ phrase is getting very old, I expected better from you.

The vaccine can’t change your DNA, so either you made it up, or he wasn’t all that intelligent.

It’s just a daft Facebook rumour, hence the Karen comment.
Ok, when that information comes from a very highly regarded member of the medical profession I consider that to be from someone other than Karen off Facebook, but each to their own. I wasn’t looking to begin another long debate about the Covid jab, everyone will have their own thoughts on it, I was just passing on what I regarded as an interesting conversation with a medical profession, maybe I shouldn’t have bothered.

Anyway that’s the end of the debate from my point of view, there’s more to life.

At least I actually read mine. Almost all of those are saying the same thing.

Doubts about unproven vaccines were rational, and I can understand even some health professionals deciding that the risk of side effects was higher than that of Covid, though most public health bodies disagreed.

The DNA modification bit is tin foil hat nonsense though.

I rarely come on this thread but **** me "a vaccine can alter your DNA"..... <laugh>

All those millions of hours researchers have wasted on human genome editing programs could have been saved if they'd just tried a flu jab.

I assume he meant that there was a concern about toxicity in the vaccine that alters the DNA of the cells it affects - much like sun, heavy metals, radioactivity, viruses can do, resulting in cancer. Not that it alters all the DNA in a body creating a superhuman or a lizard...

I have no idea if it does or not.
