I do like to browse this thread for latest transfer news. Gossip, rumours but **** me I must be getting old. I have no idea who 99% of these names are that are brought up. Won't even pretend to know either. Just looking forward to seeing what we end up with and what we can do with them.
Oh I wouldn't call you a C u next Tuesday, Norm. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
No problem really as 99% of them are either made up bollox or else players we have been after but failed to sign.
They've got Solanke, Richarlison, Werner and Son all capable of playing through the middle. I'd sill expect Lankshear to go out on loan
Thing is as well though Lankshear apparently needs one more year at Spurs to be counted as “club trained home grown” so they might keep him around due to that.
just read a report of the u18 match against charlton (4-3 to us) and we have a central defender called bobby moore. https://www.charltonafc.com/news/u18-report-hull-city-4-charlton-3
His spell with us probably added £10m to his value. The EPL should take note and give the Pyramid a fair share of their spoils.
We do, the trialist from Southend was good in that game as well. Albania U18s international. He's been on trial for a while now.
I wonder if Spurs will loan out Lucas Bergvall I saw him live playing for DIF quite a lot last season and he tore up the Allsvenskan not to mention Europa League. He's only 18 but already a full international. Talking about DIF players I'm surprised we haven't been linked with Deniz Hummet seeing as he's a dual Turkish citizen and a striker.
I don’t think (might be wrong) that loans out affect the home-grown status of a player. If a player trains at a club for 3yrs between the ages of 15-21, they are home grown by the club. Ronaldo is classed as HG by MUFC because of this.
I mean we call Baz out but Howson is absolutely rubbish. Worst "reporter" I've known at the HDM and I remember the days of Fieldhouse.
