Saw someone on X also mention Róbert Boženík at Boavista. Slovakian striker.

Know anything about him @HFFP?

EDIT: never mind lmao
No interest apparently in moving to us. He doesn’t have a great record but seems to miss a lot of chances. That seems to be a theme now, players who get in good areas

Good player, very strong and doesn't stop pressing one minute. Played for Slovakia in the Euro. Was close to joining Sevilla a month ago. Boavista needs money they can't register new players at the moment. But i doubt we would drop tot he championship since he's having interest from Serie A and La Liga.

I was tempted to @ you but thought you’d be along anyway :emoticon-0105-wink: at least more positive than your review of Vinagre..

Pompey manager doesn't expect Kamara to be sold:

Mousinho said: ‘It (a Kamara deal) is nowhere at the minute. He’s part of Norwich’s squad and played at the weekend.
‘As far as I know Norwich have no intention to sell or move Abu on. So that’s where we are with that one.
‘I don’t think it’s one we are going to be able to pursue, unfortunately.
‘Yes (if the situation was to change they’d been keen to do a deal), everyone knows our admiration for Abu at this football club.’

I’d be happy with any of Tobias Lauritsen, Róbert Boženík or Arnel Jakupović on a permanent deal with someone like Lankshear on loan.

We probably won’t sign any of them and the mystery striker will be someone even more left-field.

Wout Weghorst on the Burnley bench tonight. He will end up being loaned somewhere.

Also, Twine and Zaroury on the same bench.

Reading the article about Boženík translated from Portuguese, it seems to suggest we have had a €4.5 million bid accepted by Boavista but the player is reluctant to come because he’s waiting for a Serie A team to come in for him. Hellas Verona are interested but don’t seem to value him enough to match our bid.

Seems a weird one as Acun, Kesler and Walter have said more than once that it’s not just about signing players but the right players and we won’t chase players who don’t want to come here. Ironically, we seem to have agreed terms with Hughes and he’s desperate to come but we can’t agree terms with Wigan just yet and we’ve agreed terms with a club for a striker but he doesn’t want to come lmao.

Can't believe nothings been announced today after what both Acun and Tan said before the Bristol game. It feels like the lad from Ecuador has been close for the past 2 weeks. Same for Hughes.

Apparently what Tan said about Hughes didn't go down well. I can understand why to be fair. It's unlike Tan to speak about other clubs players unless the deal is 99% done, which doesn't seem to be the case.
