Reading the article about Boženík translated from Portuguese, it seems to suggest we have had a €4.5 million bid accepted by Boavista but the player is reluctant to come because he’s waiting for a Serie A team to come in for him. Hellas Verona are interested but don’t seem to value him enough to match our bid. Seems a weird one as Acun, Kesler and Walter have said more than once that it’s not just about signing players but the right players and we won’t chase players who don’t want to come here. Ironically, we seem to have agreed terms with Hughes and he’s desperate to come but we can’t agree terms with Wigan just yet and we’ve agreed terms with a club for a striker but he doesn’t want to come lmao.
Can't believe nothings been announced today after what both Acun and Tan said before the Bristol game. It feels like the lad from Ecuador has been close for the past 2 weeks. Same for Hughes.
