I don't get why there's so much desire to sign a striker on loan who either hasn't played pro football, or hasn't done anything in the league below...like Burstow.

Scarlett is quick and wants to run in behind, good finisher. He’s not got much hold up play and he’s not the biggest. Don’t think he suits our system. Think he would be a strange loan signing, wouldn’t be against signing him permanently as a development option.

That sentence fills me with a bit more positivity about the signing. Held my tongue on it earlier as don't have much positive to say on Scarlett but wouldn't mind it in that scenario. As long as Mayenda still gets minutes it's fine.
