Doesn’t scream ‘we’ve learnt from our mistakes’ but agree absolutely no point in us wetting the bed just yet, there’ll be about 15 strikers linked between now and the window closing

I think we need to have more options who can play centrally or out wide to get a balanced squad. We still need that number one option, but a player with versatility helps back that up without having their route to minutes completely blocked. Scarlett hasn’t broke through yet, but he’s exactly the sort of player we’ve signed previously and got success out of. Look at Broadhead for an example of the sort of deal we’d be looking for with DS.
 
I don’t recall ever seeing Scarlett play. Not sure if that’s telling or I’m like most people, mainly on ready to twist not here, but a lot seem to auto moan it seems.

We have plenty of players to cover at fullback, I would say full isn't a area to worry about
 
Only worrying thing is I’m hearing nothing regarding strikers with experience only thing I’ve heard is Roofe
 
Very noticeable yesterday and the Marseille game that Onien was virtually the CDM when we went pressing very high. The other centre half needs to be quick if we continue to many like this.

Which Ballard isn’t really. He’d partner Alese for me with everyone fit but fully expect O’Nien to keep his place like.
