Best thing about this was that we're looking at permanent transfers first and foremost.

Can't deal with another summer like this one. Get a spine in place then sprinkle some loan magic in there!

I think it's too soon to say. I honestly think from what I've seen he'd be a good choice as first choice with a better side in front of him. Seems much more assured than Allsop and Ingram, he catches balls we've seen Allsop fumble, he's confident and he's not afraid to come off his line (for better or worse).

It's put him in a bad light playing these friendlies with a severely weakened squad that are trying to adapt to a completely new way of playing, which is higher risk stuff. I honestly think he'll come good.
He doesnt look assured at all

The issue is the only way he gets ready is playing. We saw it with Jakupovic and even Gulacsi when he was here. Sometimes keepers mature later on. We saw a bit of improvement from Pandur in the Reading game. He just needs an old head next to him to show him some of the ropes
How come Cartwright looked good when he had to step in?

He doesnt look assured at all

Explained my rationale already. Playing friendlies with a knackered squad learning a new system hasn't done him any favours at all on here. He's made some good saves and conceded goals that largely weren't his fault in games that do not matter. It's far too soon to judge, but at the moment there are snippets there to suggest he'll come good.

Considering it’s not his first language I thought he spoke well and is clearly passionate.
Getting deals over the line clearly needs his input no idea what Tan has being doing.
I am drawing a line as of today putting my understandably negativity to one side. .
Still need around 12 players before the end of August but that’s the last time I say it.

So we spunked a lot in January which was speculated on here and can’t spend till we sold greaves philo and Tufan
Acun says we’re waiting till the end of the window
This has put us in a much weaker bargaining position
We could definitely have got more for them
And he alluded to the fact we can’t spend what we got cos of ffp
Let’s hope these new players coming in are going to hit the ground running
This is putting a lot of pressure on Tim
We play a high risk game now
If heads go down with defeats he won’t be here long as players lose belief quickly
Fingers crossed it’s all going to come good but for me the warning signs are all there no matter how’s smooth and reassuring acun is
Did Acun sell you a car that turned out to be junk?
He did didn’t he…

Well didnt see the q&a, so just catching up on here and sounds like he not only fronted up but showed a good amount of honesty, a d common sense, good to see the rumour mill put to bed, and good to see that he has explained to some degree the failure of signings, but more impressively held his hand up re the previous forum and apologised where necessary. Onward and upwards we go hopefully from here
