Litterally Just noticed this myself. I was looking for squad numbers to see which numbers are still vacant, and if any have changed to give an idea of involvement, e.g Rigg number 8 not Embleton. Any ideas when they are normally announced? Thought it was usually by now. I did also notice no images for Semedo, Ekwah and Pembele....
They didn’t confirm the squad numbers for last season until the night before the first game of the season.
@SAFCsource Olly Bainbridge set to sign for Kilmarnock on loan and will make his debut on Sunday against Celtic https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport...cinnes-gutted-unnecessary-kilmarnock-33379472
I agree, but I also accept that it isn’t as simple as “just go sign a striker “ Unless you want another will grigg?
Come on mate, we are well past that sort of comment. No-one is suggesting we throw money around chasing a Will Grigg, but it is a concern we haven't signed a functioning striker
The fact is they will not sign a striker end of, so get out of our club pronto', and still waiting for my white season card.
Haway man this is silly nonsense When you walk through a storm Hold your head up high And don't be afraid of the dark At the end of a storm There's a golden sky And the sweet silver song of a lark Walk on through the wind Walk on through the rain For your dreams be tossed and blown Walk on, walk on With hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone
some players will have to be shifted on to make space for a new striker(s) we have too many fringe players atm that wont get time here, once we see a few of these going, the strikers we have lined up and waiting to sign, will.
Just a YouTube compilation but he looks great. Even his first touch is designed to immediately get on the front foot and pass forwards. Played in a struggling team so you can perhaps understand that they weren't finishing as many chances as they should have been. He appears to be strong enough on the ball too, not getting pushed off it too easily. I imagine he's a target to replace Aouichiche. For all the raw talent he has, there's clearly something not quite right either with him settling here or with his attitude. On talent alone, he should be one of the first players in the team but it just hasn't clicked.
We aren’t the only club that had their fingers burned and I doubt that has any reflection on what Speakman is thinking. For every Andre Flo there is a Marcus Stewart (loved that little fella). We can’t afford not to progress because a previous ownership once paid too much money for a **** player Speakman needs to use his laser focused obsession with progression to find that little gem in that big wide world somewhere. I do however feel he needs to be rid of some of the bloated squad that he has built up
