Acun joining the board of FB and Lee Darborough leaving at such a critical juncture surely hasn’t helped our situation. Although he seemingly picked out some wrong ‘uns he also got a good few right. Who’s identifying our targets now? Serious question. Who are ‘the brain team?

It was touted in the press and online that Acun was looking to buy NK Maribor of Slovenia via his media company - Acun Medya, but has the purchase ever been confirmed? I can find information about him speaking to Maribor about a possible purchase but no confirmation of a sale actually taking place.
Also weird that McVities are no longer sponsoring us, and no input financially from Murat Ulker.

Possible cashflow issues?

Are you sure that we are signing any internationals, I don't see too many options when I check players in Euro or Copa America.

No, but the knock on effect of transfers tending to fall after the bigger clubs do their business will be delayed by the euros.

It's delaying the whole European market.

But there are also other things like close ties with Ceferin so we will see soon. Maribor fans have similar complain about lack of transfers, 2 players brought in so far, one is again Westerlo, where Turkish clubs offload their players owned by a Turkish fella.

Interesting the player they've brought in from Westerloo is Karol Borys who we tried to sign last year. Very highly rated but still only 17. Wonder if they're having a closer look at Maribor before potentially moving him across to us.

They will still be bound by Uefa's PSR, so I don't think it would be that simple.

The benefits to a multi club structure are there, but there would still need to be a return for both parties.
