It's amazing that Speakman is such a terrible man yet has managed to attract Browne, keep Rigg and appoint Le Bris ...

... almost as if there's a hidden side that those who dislike him never get to see.

Bob is class to watch on would I lie to you as he tells this most completely ridiculous and absurd stories that there is no way they are possibly true bit then he reveals that it was all true.

Speakman is very good at those things. He speaks well in my opinion, keeps it light hearted, knows when to laugh at himself and is self aware enough to know what the fans are thinking. He doesn't shy away from an answer but isn't afraid to disagree either if he thinks differently.

Ultimately, I want a person in that role who has the courage of his convictions and believes in their way of doing the job. It might come across as arrogant in some situations but that's better than dithering and trying to appease thousands of other people.
