I think we gave largely a fairly good account of ourselves tonight, but Spain were clearly better. That period after the equaliser was annoying though, exactly the same as Croatia and Italy games, let them attack us and attack us until they scored. Said it about Southgate since he took over, he looks at Englands weaknesses (their centre of defence) and tries to protect that rather than thinking “**** it, let’s play to our strengths and the attacking quality we have and if we concede then so be it” Same as lots of people in other walks of life as well who try to improve their biggest weakness which is a huge waste of time and everyone should just be focusing on their strengths
Congratulations, Spain were the better team England have some good talents. Think it's time for a new manager to get the best out of them. Shame Kane looks like he carried an injury.
