Made a few notes. Asked a question myself but one guy has just asked why the preseason games in Spain is so far away from his hotel!!!
Only going off Roker Reports tweets but both RLB and Speakman are saying all the right things. Speakman catching flack for saying perfectly fine things though, as per.
I assume he was told cause he booked his hotel that far away?
So to summarise:
Regis is really impressed with set up and highlighting importance of fans as 12th man.
He gave a quick synopsis of his career
KS spoke about why they chose Regis - he has a good mix of all the qualities they are wanting in a coach
The club first became aware of Regis in his first season at Lorient but he wasout of reach at the time for us
There was no number one choice about Head Coach, it’s about timing and who is available.
Brexit was part of the delay in announcing Regis due to clearance and paperwork
KS is happy with recruitment so far
Frankie was teasing KS for any transfer updates!
Difficult market to find strikers at the moment
Embleton, Cirkin, Alese and Dan Neil all back and training fully
Good question from the audience about how KS and the club are going to support Regis to be a success
I then asked a question about the model and where is the balance in trying to keep our best players but ultimately having to sell to reinvest. He said again it’s about timing. Sometimes the club outgrows a player eg. Good in league one but can’t make the step up or the player outgrows the club in terms of their ability and our position.

Nothing new really from the talk in. Thought Speakman came across well, question asking Le Bris if the french ref for Sunday was any good prob. the best 
Oh I forgot, when discussing why Le Bris didn't bring his own team here. Speakman did say expect something in few days or the coming week.

My thoughts on Regis……. A very deep, thoughtful manager who I think has a strong philosophy of how he wants the team to play. He spoke about the need to impress on players the need to take personal responsibility on the pitch. On early impressions and I like him a lot but it may take time to get his ideas and philosophy across. I just hope we give him that time because I think he will really come good for us
Ha ha! When I asked the question he said if anyone says the word model again they had to be escorted from the stadium!!!! Frankie was comparing and going around with the microphone and he said that he had started it!! Thought Speakman came across well
Speakman once again proving to be the litmus test of whether a Sunderland fan is a raging ****ing idiot or not
Did anyone ask Speskman when he was handing in his notice and going off to some foreign club (if another SAFC forum is to be believed).
