We were all eliminated regularly and fairly quickly, it turns out it's fairly difficult to accurately move a cursor just using a sensor in the hat you're wearing.

Ah OK it thought it was more like the real thing than a computer game. A little while back there was news of a real (not killing people though) game where some of the participants planed to sue the organizers because they got cold and wet.

It was quite a good laugh (I went with the missus, junior and his girlfriend, my daughter missed out as she got ill on Saturday night), though my missus had never seen Squid Game and had absolutely no idea what was going on. We were fairly rubbish at it, I think we came 1,677 out of 1,679 people who'd played so far this month. <laugh>

1,677 out of 1,679 ain't just fairly rubbish, mate!

Your Missus having no idea what was going on reminds me of when Daughter 2, Son-in-Law, wife and I were in an Escape Room.

As three of us set about trying to rearrange some coloured tiles to form a rudimentary clue in order to crack the code to open a desk drawer, my Missus started rattling the door handle before exclaiming 'We're locked in! Have they any idea how many Heath and Safety laws that contravenes. <laugh>

It was well worth watching the real Squid Games series.
Well I enjoyed it anyway.
Very similar sets etc to the functional one, but blood capsules splattered on you when you were eliminated.
A couple of games different but a good watch nevertheless to see how people ganged up etc

I’m late to this programme
But anyone watch
Race Across The World?
Just finished the second series
It’s addictive
Brilliant programme Chazz. I don’t know whether it’s still on iPlayer, but if you can find it the celebrity one was surprisingly good too

Posted this when the first series was on

This week's episode starts with the one with a fear of heights sitting having breakfast at a window seat of a skyscraper hotel built on top of a mountain. Within 5 minutes there she is at the top of a tower view point standing on the see through floor. Scared of heights my arse, why make up **** to make it more dramatic when there's more than enough real dramatic stuff. They're travelling across Canada ffs.

Just watched ‘The Saint of Second Chances’ based on a father and son partnership to revive the fortunes of the Chicago Sox baseball team in the 1970s. The son came up with some amazing ideas to generate much needed finance to keep the club afloat resulting in one crazy idea that backfired (literally) Worth a watch for people who enjoyed the 70s, sport and disco vs rock n roll!!

Just watched the Bobby Robson - More Than A Manager documentary on Sky.
Absolutely brilliant not only an excellent coach a lovely bloke and really well made.
I highly recommend it.

My favourite team to watch, other than City, was his Ipswich one with Muhren and Thyssen.
Fantastic team and club for a town the size of York.

Everyone liked him as an England manager but his record was not as good as Southgate’s. Funny old game.

I know the Netflix Beckham series has been mentioned a while back but I don't know where, but I was watching one of the episodes whilst at the Dentists having my teeth cleaned (TV on ceiling). Is it worth watching the whole thing? Cue abuse!
