D-Day: Secrets of the Frontline Heroes
    8.20pm, Channel 4 tonight
6 June 2024 marks 80 years since D-day, when 156,000 allied soldiers landed on the beaches of Normandy and embarked on a campaign that would herald the beginning of the end of the second world war in Europe. This documentary pays tribute to them with a focus on the photographers and film-makers who captured remarkable footage of the heroic efforts during the fateful summer days that followed

He's ok but he's too much of a gym physique - Chris Pratt would been better, from seeing the 'Terminal List'.

As I said from seeing Terminal List, he would have been a better fit. Can't speak for his other appearances.

Watched the remake of the fall guy, in my honest opinion is absolute ****, way too wishy ****ing washy. It is almost as if film directors have forgotten how to film a good action movie, maybe pandering to “ oooww it’s a bit too violent so we had better water the bastard down. I’ve not seen Barbie but felt this film was a bit **** like that ****e…..

'Triangle Of Sadness' on Netflix is a quality comedy film. A sharp take on modern society with performances that ooze genuineness. It has a nod to Monty Python and was a Palme D'Or Winner no less. :emoticon-0137-clapp

Started a series called “ The cleaner “ not brilliant but definitely watchable. Bit of a weak storyline but not a total waste of 40mins.

For fans of Squid Game, you can now play yourself, I went to the Manchester one on Sunday...

Unfortunately, there was a Man City parade on Sunday night, clearly arranged by a mentally challenged baboon and it took an hour just to cross the road and we nearly lost our table at Dishoom.

Bez was at breakfast in our hotel yesterday. <laugh>

It was quite a good laugh (I went with the missus, junior and his girlfriend, my daughter missed out as she got ill on Saturday night), though my missus had never seen Squid Game and had absolutely no idea what was going on. We were fairly rubbish at it, I think we came 1,677 out of 1,679 people who'd played so far this month. <laugh>
