'Sunderland are interested in 21-year-old Chilean international midfielder César Pérez, currently a footballer for Unión La Calera in the Chilean League. Sunderland intends to start a negotiation for a sum of £2 million.'
Not sure how I feel about this, I want to see the experience come in and more signings from English leagues first or at lease leagues in Europe. That's where we have had the most success so far, it would take this lad a while to bed in just like Bennette who still hasn't
Another in at Charlton. They’ve made some very good signings for L1 level. please log in to view this image
Probably the best time to make a signing like this, we have Neil, Ekwah, Jobe, Rigg and possibly Norwood (if that one comes off) so there wouldn't be an immediate hurry for him to be starting games straight away. Can give them the season to settle if needed until the time comes that one or more of the current midfield lot move on to better things. I'd be concerned about this type of signing if they were brought in with the expectation to be starting games and making an impact immediately but that wouldn't be the case currently.
