You pair digging up the past doesn't help in my humble opinion
There seems to be a bit of a witch hunt for Grizzled Wanderer because of his constant negativity, which is almost (if not totally) identical to Exile, but to me it's probably a bit unfair. I deleted one of his posts 'cos it was a personal attack, but apart from that he's entitled to his opinions, negative or not, and even if he is Exile, so what . . . . maybe a second chance is okay 
Can we (everybody) sort of 'draw a line' under what's happened previously and treat each other with some respect, even if it's through gritted teeth, for the sake of our board, please
It's obvious that I do more moderating than anybody on this board (that doesn't need to be pointed out) 'cos most of us want it to remain peaceful and a happy place to visit for discussions about many diversified subjects, and in the main it's brilliant (probably the best, and most friendly, board on NOT606) so let's keep it good, eh

That's a lie and I'm entitled to respond.
What I objected to, on here, was someone using the new coach thread only to attack the club.
In fact his only real mention of Le Bris was to trot out a casually racist crack about his English.
There's a rule about continually taking threads off topic which was ignored here, unless the new coach is responsible for the BCB, the rest of the list of club failures and 'flirting with relegation'.
And that's my last word on this, hopefully the thread can return to the actual subject.

Hamish got a ban, rightly or wrongly, for what they said so it's pretty irrelevant talking about that considering they are the only one out of the pair of yous to receive punishment.
This is stupid, derailing and just annoying. This is a football board and this specifically is a thread about the head coach, not a thread for comparing posters to *****philes or personal attacks. First proper day of the new head coach and hopefully some news on coaches coming with him today is what should be on this thread.

@Gordon Armstrong .....Can't we have a "Spatz" thread? Anyone who wants a spat with someone can go on there....they can always reference back to the thread where the alleged grievance took place,without disturbing it. At least it would allow that original thread to proceed as intended. I'm tired of all this calling out stuff....it's genuinely affected my enjoyment of this Board, and I'm sure I can't be alone.
