The forum seems to be a lot friendlier when you're not advertising how much better a supporter than anyone else you are and provoking fights with anyone who doesn't think exactly as you do.

So maybe take your own advice and allow the rest of us to discuss our opinions without piling in. Scroll on by, it's not a challenge to a duel.

Or perhaps you simply should look at the amount of people who 'liked' my initial response to you, listed below.

26 'liked' my response to Bob, seems friendly enough tbh.

You'll ignore that because it doesn't suit your sad little anti-SAFC agenda.

Anyway, the football's on.

fer fooks sake...

the club (owners) have made mistakes as well as the good start they had, imho i feel they have pretty much averaged it out.

the 'long wait' to get a new coach was expected as they gave dodds to the end of the season, i presume, to save another hasty hire like beale...a few names were mentioned, one or two may even have had an interview while others were suggested as 'probables' but never got a sniff.

the new lad is here, a successful kit launch has been and gone, the pitch has been relaid, safe standing has been added to the stadium, the whole merchandise side has had a facelift, mistakes admitted to and the owners have basically said that they are putting whatever they can into this season.

can we all not just start looking forward to this season and try to feckin enjoy it, i very much doubt it will be plain sailing and i think there might even be a couple more mistakes along the way... none of us know how much time we have left and i am buggered if i am going to spend mine whining on like a little girl in misery, enjoy the good times as there will be less of them in life than sh1t times.
;)

Spot on. Great being in a happy place isn’t it? Great loving your club. Great to look forward to the season.

Replacing my deleted post. No notification either.

Safe to say I disagree, and I'm also beginning to notice a trend in what gets deleted.

All hail The Chairman.

When you work with the knackers they bring it up anyway or they do where I work.

So tell them they have sold their soul the murdering kernts & had morals so high they shouted at shops because Ashley does zero hour contracts....i find they shut up

When they mention our attendance or empty seats....ask if they got one of the 10k season tickets Ashley gave away & point out i cant remember any club giving free season tickets away

When they say they have a proud European history due to Fairs cup win...ask why they played in the final

Majority who go on like ****ers are plastic mags & have no clue about anything

I do. Always have my go. Caused a real stink at BA back in the day.

The problem is they’re so far gone they don’t care. As a lad who works for me said when I asked why he was going to the Saudi International game he said, I’m not really bothered I’m just having a good time enjoying myself. Whilst sitting next to a gay lad.

I just don't take my pants off immediately for the girl who's kicked me in the balls before based on her saying she won't do it again.

Give me the right signals and the pants will be off like lightning ;) like they've got Velcro down the side.
Maybe that's the reason you feel this way. You have allowed yourself to end up in a position where you take "your pants down" but the girl is not ready and you deservedly got a swift kick in the balls. Show her a bit more love and support her unconditionally no matter what and just maybe next time you drop your trousers she might reciprocate. But remember no means no :emoticon-0102-bigsm

They are not unsolicited if you drop your trousers mate! and it was your analogy.

It was, and it's still correct - you only drop your trousers at the right time. And there's a lot of early trouser dropping going on right now at the first hint of things going well.

I get that people want to be positive. I want to be positive as well.

What I don't get is the attitude that anyone who's not overwhelmingly positive must be fought with.

It’s clear you and Bob respect each other enough to have exchanges like this and it never goes personal.
