Rumour has it Turner is a black and white. He knocked on my MIL's door at the 2017 election campaign, and he thought he recognized that I'd visited his surgery to discuss the Allams, (I hadn't) then said 'about time they ****ed off'. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
They're now owned by Coca-Cola, but they're still British based, British run and primarily operating from British sites (though they're rolling it out in other countries at quite a pace). I'd still consider Cadbury's to be a British chocolate brand, despite them now being owned by Mondalez.
They’re better than McDonald’s and Burger King and cheaper than Five Guys. That doesn’t really say much but it’s one of the “better” ones of those types of chains, I guess.
Are Man City an English football club? Is Rolls Royce a British car? Just because the majority of shares in a company may be foreign owned, it doesn't necessarily stop them being British.
Progress being made, I'm looking forward to the first breakdown/accident in the open tunnel and the ensuing tailback chaos.
Papa’s own the Wendy’s franchise so although it’s an American brand, it is a locally owned franchise at least.
Some very good local independent restaurants , cafes etc. Never really seen the appeal of Mcdonalds , Burger King , KFC or other chain fast food places
same for me…I always make an active effort to seek out the independents. **** the chains I want the owner to feel the benefits of my small purchase, not boost shareholders dividends
I haven't lived in Hull for years but whenever I'm over for a walk around town with Mrs S. I can always find really good coffee - I'd rather go without than use a chain.
