A wholly owned subsidiary of coka cola

They're now owned by Coca-Cola, but they're still British based, British run and primarily operating from British sites (though they're rolling it out in other countries at quite a pace). I'd still consider Cadbury's to be a British chocolate brand, despite them now being owned by Mondalez.

Anybody been in one of these yet?

They’re better than McDonald’s and Burger King and cheaper than Five Guys.

That doesn’t really say much but it’s one of the “better” ones of those types of chains, I guess.

Yeah I didn’t mind it when I tried it.

Decentish burger - not gourmet but tasty and meaty enough.

So foreign owned companies operating in this country are British ?

Some very good local independent restaurants , cafes etc.

Never really seen the appeal of Mcdonalds , Burger King , KFC or other chain fast food places

same for me…I always make an active effort to seek out the independents. **** the chains

I want the owner to feel the benefits of my small purchase, not boost shareholders dividends
