I’d like to think Walter ball will suit him much better than Rosey ball…

If Walter Ball is based on Jurgen Klopps style of football, then I for one am looking to be entertained and sure Ryan will fit into that well. As for Rosey Ball anyone could play that; you don't need to look up, or pass forward and look to score a goal, just find your keeper and pass back, repeat and rinse.

Tufan was on 30k a week ? How much are we still paying Sinik ?

He wasn’t, we never had any players on £30k a week. Seri was the highest paid and he was apparently on just over 20k. IIRC when he first arrived somebody mentioned to me that he was on about £15k a week, about the same as Philogene.

Our wage bill for our permanent players isn't actually that high, the loan players are what were expensive but Liverpool were subsidising half of FC's wages while he was here.

Turkey is heaven for

I'd differ pace and acceleration.

Turkey has a lot wingers with quick legs, that accelerates well but not good at top speed, not enough strength also. Sinik is one of them, general athleticism is pretty low. If you check wingers in Turkey, you will always notice smaller shoulders, unlike premier league guys. Some say it is lack of protein in diet when they were teenager, some say it is Messi-fetish, although Messi has quite ok, not great but still ok upper body.

I don't really know, but it is a general trend academics noticed, there are even articles about it, except Baris Alper Yilmaz, he is an outlier.

Do you think there'll be more Turkish players heading to us or you reckon Acun will look elsewhere?

I've always liked Mert Mulder as a full back, he just seems solid and has a decent cross on him. Like a Turkish Lewie Coyle.

Always good to see incomings happen, and I do think continuity is important, particularly with all the outgoings. He's a player of real pedigree who other clubs are known to have wanted. And that's left back sorted now.

On the other hand, I think it's pretty clear that this is a deal we agreed to in January, for quite a significant fee and it's possible that Walter would've preferred not to spend such a portion of our budget on one player, a defender at that.
How do you know ? Are you ITK ?
C’mon you have no idea Tim wouldn’t want to do what you suggest , these are badly educated guesses , wait until OLM or St confirm your idea LOL

Muldur can find a mid level team in any top 5 league unfortunately, he has 3 full seasons in Serie A and any Bundesliga team would not miss chance to get a German-speaking player when he is on the market. He will not listen offers from Championship.

No I don't know, I said it's possible. Just it's obviously a big fee, and if it was because we were locked into it then it maybe begs the question how keen on it is he.

The club are reporting it as an option, but you’re going with the HDM instead?

If HDM are doubling down on it then yeah. That and we would be mad to pay 4m based on last season.

...and of course an option can also be described as an obligation depending on which side of the deal you're on and which party the option is in the favour of.

It seems pretty likely that Greaves and Philogene will both be leaving shortly for big money so the purse strings should start to loosen.

Not sure I'd have signed him mind, just didn't think he did enough
