Nope nothing that I’ve heard. Neil wants to stay and have the captains armband though. Personally think it’s silly that he hasn’t got it already. At the same time though we need to pay him what he deserves
Both might have been, Browne has been I believe.
I could understand if he doesn't get the armband because he wants someone else such as an older head with good quality that we bring in. Spot on about Neil deserving a good contract.

That would be unreal. I mocked up this lineup for my page earlier. Put Norwood in the DM role and Browne instead of ekwah and what a midfield that is.

Ekwah is much better when he’s allowed to be an advanced CM. He’s a proper number 8. If he has a solid defensive midfielder behind him he should flourish imo
Yep into his 4th full season in the first team. We should show the confidence we have him in by giving him the armband imo. He always is one of the better leaders on the pitch
I don’t think it’s a positional thing with him. Much more of a confidence / laziness thing. TM was great for him so hopefully RLB can do the same
It all depends on which Ekwah shows up, I’ve seen Ekwah have maybe 2 of the best midfield performances I’ve ever seen from a Sunderland midfielder, Luton in the play off semi final and Southampton at home.
He definitely has it in him but hardly shows up.
I’d had enough of Ekwah around January. No heart and half interested surrendering of the ball repeatedly. Him and Roberts. Both are the oppositions best pre assisters.
January, that late? I’d had enough months earlier when he was wandering about the pitch without a care in the world.
