Love the guy but really wouldn't be gutted if we gouge someone for big money and improve the overall squad this window.

No real surprise that Clarke is going. Hopefully he’s the only one of our real assets that goes and the money is reinvested well in a striker and a DM.
Tbf if it helps us invest in the squad as a whole I’m fine with it

If we get like 25m for Clarke and bring Browne and Norwood in on frees. It leaves us a lot to reinvest. We could raise the wage cap to attract better players, we could spent 5m+ on a good CF if we wanted, sign a decent winger like Mikey Johnston who’s going for £6m. Basically we can really improve the certain positions that need it
I think signing Browne and Norwood and raising the wage cap to do so would eat up more of the 25m than you might expect.
If Clarke goes we have to sign goals. For me that means we also have to get someone more productive than Roberts on the other side as well as replacing Clarke. The 9 needs to have goals in them, I’ve read people think otherwise but we’ll have lost Amad, Clarke and Stewart’s goals in the last two seasons and that’s too many. I’m also not sure Aouchiche can be clinical enough. Goals from all of those positions and we can ride Clarke leaving.,
Id be shocked if he didn't, imagine way Harte has gone on last few windows he will be pushing it big time

Yeah mate. I know some think we will get another year out of him. Not what I heard yday. Let's see what fee we can get. Anything 15m plus will be a good deal I feel. Dropped off a cliff at the end of the season.

You heard we are in talks with Liam Millar? Be a decent replacement and plenty money left over to invest elsewhere in the team imo!
Be interesting where he goes, palace would be a cracking move for him and more likely with olise looking like hes joining bayern
I reckon we could get 20 for him, overall last season he was class for us and young english players always go for higher
Id want a sell on % on any deal as well
