That is the problem with message boards in general, easy to slag off than post positive news.

Some posters, me included, even post joking about the inevitable impending doom, but along with the negative posts leads to an awful toxic atmosphere in our club.

Therefore, in my opinion, the minority are blackening the reputation of our club, with the majority sick of the soundtrack of gloom.

I've decided it's time to stand up and call out the negatives, and like I've done with agreeing with @Bucky1989 post, shining a light on the good news stories.

My crusade, my club. Keep the faith.

Hhhaaa'wwwwaaaaayyyyyy the lads

I usually disbelieve negative stuff and believe the positive stuff for no other reason than it makes me feel better. There are some right doom and gloom mongers out there especially on wider social media Twatter (not a typo) etc...

I say usually as not sure if it was last Jaury or last summer when there were rumours we were flogging all our players I might have pissed the bed just a little bit! <laugh>

Surely there should be a name and shame thread, it would let them see how gormless they are now

strange, some are quick to join in with negative thoughts, telling us all about the things that might happen, the things that nobody said, the things that they are positive about because they heard something from someone that knows someone that may have a subtle football connection that might be linked to the club.

just as strange, they all disappear once those claims were shown to be wrong (as some told us they would) and this happens every end of season/coach search/transfer window, there are others that can put forward a decent argument and each of them are happy enough to wait and see which is all we (the fans) can do.

things are moving at the club, hopefully lessons are being learned and the club can get back to heading the right way, may take a few weeks so i hope everyone gives them time.

Do you have any pills that helps with this <laugh>

I'm going to have to try harder...

That’s me as well. Always the optimist.

Oh, there will be some excuse as to why their negative 'facts' have been proved to be wrong. They'll still have somehow been right.

What's truly laughable is that certain people always call themselves 'realists' ...

... when their claims are proved to be unrealistic they just move on to something else.

During our fight against PL relegation they'd keep saying those who thought we'd stay up were deluded.

The reality was that we hadn't gone down.

Each time we stayed up they'd vanish, until we eventually went down, and they all appeared again.

what i honestly cannot grasp is the hatred towards KLD and KS, i do not know of any owners that have built a club up without some 'fails' along the way and the same goes for recruitment teams but so far both have earned some time to correct those mistakes.

two or three posters have stated that KLD is looking to change things and while it is very much a 'he said she said' statement as they all are, there is evidence of it actually happening on the pitch, in the stands, areas in and outside the stadium and with the staff...surely people can see it and get behind them rather than waiting for the next slight blip to start the negativity again.

Something that's mentioned in this thread and in other articles about his time at Lorient that i've noticed is that things took a turn for the worse when he was handed control of player recruitment. To me that suggests he'll be a good fit here as he can concentrate on coaching, which seems to be his biggest strength.

Love the fact he is big on psychology and individual player meetings. With a young squad like ours sometimes they need brought back down after a win and helped when going through a tough patch.

Looking forward to hearing from him whenever we do.

Good points mate.

What I struggle with is when people say KLD/KS want a 'Yes Man' who'll agree with the wishes of the club and share the vision of a playing style, desire to make the play-offs, develop young talent, etc.

That's like saying you should marry a 'Yes Woman' who'll share the same interests, want the same things from life and share key beliefs.

Why on earth would the club want to employ a 'No Man' who'll argue with everything the club want to do <laugh>

Interesting this. Not sure which job I'd take. Poor run of form by Ten Hag and he could be the next man up.

Looks like he's picked being a coach at Man Utd over the main gig at Burnley. Wonder where Burnley go from here, Bellamy getting the job would be my guess.
