Seems like Cifuentes needed a work permit to go to QPR from Hammarby.

Would it be just a refresh rather than a new one?

Under tier 2, the person can stay in the UK for three years with a possible extension for another two years.

This would rule out Cifuentes as his would still be valid. It would also rule out Maric as his would also still be valid (until 2025).

I could be totally wrong about all this like, and you might need to re-apply if you've moved teams.

If you have a work permit sponsored by a company (like most foreign managers do), if you change jobs, you have to reapply for your permit to be sponsored by the new company. Therefore, this could refer to any non-UK national whether they are in UK based work or not.

This is good news, brings Maric and Cifuentes back into play.

Hope to god it's not Le ****.
