Yeah they're no where near the team they were but they seem to have turned a corner recently results wise I think and home soil is a huge advantage. I wouldn't be shocked at all if they made at least the semis. Good outside bet of winning it too. Rule number one of international football - never write off the Germans!
I know, I know! They somehow always pull it together, and they are on home soil - but I cant help but feel their time is up on that front.
They've had 3 poor tournaments in a row, to have a 4th while being at home I find unfathomable. I reckon they'll have it all out of their system now and be more like the Germany we're used to seeing. Soon find out though!
Yeah I think they'll give it a proper go but the Germans will have too much for them in the end. Look out for Florian Wirtz. Serious talent who missed the 2022 World Cup through injury.
