Yeah, same could apply with Lampard. Players aren't back for a couple of weeks anyway, so he could feasibly do the first couple of weeks of the Euros.

Thing that makes me doubt Cifuentes is that it would be all over the papers before an announcement about him, because we'd have to agree compensation. Can't see how none of our press, the athletic, or QPR's press wouldn't hear of that before it happened. Lampard on the other hand could feasibly be announced without many knowing about it.

I’d be ok with Lampard. Done well in this division before, worked well with young players and is a big name.
This would be my view. I’d be okay with him. Not overjoyed, but not livid either. Right bang in the middle okay. Same as Rosenior, and same as Mowbray when we appointed him.
I think the players would respect and look up to him. The knowledge he could pass on to Rigg and Neil would be invaluable too.
TBH after the Hume affair it wasn't the wildest of guesses, I think many expected it ... ... not that I'm disputing what the lad is saying. I just don't believe Lampard would come here when the QPR job will be coming up soon
I feel Lampard would either work wonders or be ****ing hopeless, don’t see a middle ground with him, I’m also right less often than a stopped clock so just have to see how it plays out
I agree with the leaks regarding the QPR manager. Not so sure about Lampard, he'd want his name out there asap I reckon
