Going little bit of the subject but my mate knows Dan Neil's uncle really well and he has said speakman is a right ****er. Offered Dan new terms and he agreed to it but soon as Dan got injured changed the terms and that's why he's turned down new contract. Not sure if @Bob the Mackem @Prehab26 or any others heard anything along these lines. If thats the case kld needs him gone asap because Dan Neil's and Riggs are the future of the club not ****ing speakman.

Still helps to be early in the market, I think Rusyn and Aouchiche especially would've benefited from being here earlier than they were but in the same breath some players aren't available until the end of the window. My point is you need to be proactive constantly from the first day of the window, but if we have no idea what style of football we will be playing it's hard to do that.

Not the first time I’ve heard that. Comes across like an arrogant arsehole imo.

Sky are still completely obsessed with him, so he'll probably have had a bit more power in a negotiation because for the coverage he's bound to attract.
