You heard anything along the same lines?
I haven’t heard anything in relation to speakmans involvement in this process mate - not really anyway. I just know he has a real habbit of rubbing people up the wrong way internally due to his way of working. Which is why I wouldn’t be at all surprised.

Ah ok. Well, we'll never really know but from what I was told, it was a staffing issue.

As much as I hope it’ll be Cifuentes, there’s no evidence whatsoever apart from some Nixon click bait that we’ve even tried. There are no rumours whatsoever that QPR are looking around for a manager or the expectation he’ll be leaving them.

TBF doing that wouldn't help QPR with compensation negotiations.

I didn't see this Nixon quote but I have had a few telling me Cifuentes is a candidate.

I've absolutely no idea though, the last definite news I had was that Still had been given a contract ...

... I thought that meant he was coming, I didn't know he hadn't signed it.

That was £25 down the nettie <doh>

Bob was asked directly:

Who wants to bring in Gus....LR or MC?

And he answered:

MC

Seems pretty open and shut what he is saying. Marti Cifuentes wants us to bring in Gus Poyet as DoF. Does it seem backwards and nonsensical? Yes.

Is he wanting us to bring in Gus or is he expecting Gus to be there because Speakman is handing over the reins to him?

Training session with Rosenior in pre season mic'd up. It's a good watch for his man management alone aside from everything else.

Doesn't make practical or professional sense to allow him to be involved in the head coach search and also the transfer window if we are going to sack him afterwards. Nobody can answer how that would be a positive thing, nobody can tell me who would be running recruitment if he was leaving in September, nobody can tell me what model we would be working under if the creator of the model is being sacked, nobody can tell me how it makes sense to bring in a new DoF and force them to work with a head coach they didn't select. So please, explain how allowing him to be involved in the most important summer in the clubs recent history makes sense if we are going to remove him in September?
Must be just you and me that cannot see any common sense in letting KS make any decisions if we have told him he is not up to the job so will be going in September when his contract is up!
If it was my company I would not want anyone I had lost trust in to make good, sound decisions so would want to bring in a replacement ASAP. As a lit of people have said, KS role is probably one of the most important and should be helping in the making the key decisions such as HC and player recruitment.
Base upon what has happened I will therefore be surprised if he is NOT here come next season.
That is my thoughts, which may prove to be incorrect but whichever way it goes I will still give my full support to everyone come the start of the season. :emoticon-0137-clapp

If Liam Rosenior goes to [HASHTAG]#SAFC[/HASHTAG] they have an incredible passionate manager who will give his absolute all to make it a success, to bond with the club, the staff & players and to entertain the fans on a Saturday. Hugely impressive character and enthusiasm. Give him some time!

No problem. Whatever it is there is something not right in the recruitment process
Fully expect Rosenior to drop out soon.
Struggling to put a positive spin on things at the moment

Seems to be taking a while doesn't it. We keep hearing we need the right man for the job, but people forget the club needs to be the right place for the coach/manager.
