Not a ****ing chance in hell Robins is leaving Coventry to come here. They reinvested about £40m last season and will likely spend big again this summer. Expect them to have a real good go this season

I'm sure others may know, and don't shoot the messenger, but the Jansen talks ended because once again, the sticking block was of course.... backroom staff. Oddly Still was given the green light to bring people in, however Jansen wasnt. Having that stipulation in the vacancy is only going to make a smaller net to when looking for a coach.
If that's true we'll never get anywhere with Speakman and co. calling every shot in the book.

Madness if true. But I don't see the logic in why they would do that.

I got this off a good m8 by WhatsApp this morning, exactly the same story. I asked him who told him, he said he got it off a lad in NI, who it turns out got it off a lad from pallion who no doubt got it from etc etc. a lot of these rumours just grow legs not criticising u wicksy just saying, unless, like I said to my mate, the fella who originally said it was either Jansen or his representative, who I very much doubt is chatting to a taxi driver from pallion, then it’s probably not completely kosher.

I agree mate, it was just something that was passed to me.

I'm just coming upto my 70th Birthday this month and have supported Hull City well over 50yrs and in my view he's one of the best we've had. I was surprised that they let him go because the local reports on the partnership seemed great.
It is slow build up play which can be a right piss off but when it clicked it clicked. The one touch football was a joy to watch and it seemed to be coming together at the end of the season, few more games we'd have made the play offs.
He is a Legend at City as a player so we was wondering how he was as a Manager and he did do pretty well. If he gets the right players to play his style of football then you'll be in for a treat.

I saw another video of him taking time out in pre season last year to speak with the fans and thank them all for coming over to turkey, can’t find it now but I think he will win us all round and get us to buy into him, if he is the one that is

He is a very good option to be honest but as with every coach he needs support from the club on transfers etc.

He also must be allowed to get on with tactics and team selection without any influence from elsewhere at the club. This one is the biggest sticking point for me, more so than the transfers.

I am hoping its Rosenior but would be happy with Cifuentes. I think the players would love working under Rosenior and I think Rigg signs a new deal.
As much as I hope it’ll be Cifuentes, there’s no evidence whatsoever apart from some Nixon click bait that we’ve even tried. There are no rumours whatsoever that QPR are looking around for a manager or the expectation he’ll be leaving them.

Couldn’t agree more, if you don’t trust your head coach to be exactly that then we might aswell give up now

I keep mentioning team selection etc and it stems from this article in December.

https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/head-coach-final-say-team-28333230?t=

That was meant to put to bed the rumours that Speakman influences the team but it done the complete opposite for me. Speakman should have absolutely nothing to do with choosing the squad and I’m betting just his personality and self-confidence (self-importance?) could make some coaches feel like they need to start a certain player.

His involvement would 100% put some potential coaches off.
