He's not exactly too dissimilar to Rosenior, who you are arguing against. Infact I think Hürzeler and Rosenior are a better comparison than Hürzeler and Jansen.
Fair enough.

The no pre-conceived ideas is the key. As you say they do what they believe is right and they normally are right. They just do what they think is right. Fair play. No pre-conceived ideas. Be interesting to watch this one play out, very high reputation in Germany.
Kind of being my point about structure and the poor job the club have done with implementing a specific style. Going from Potter to De Zerbi to Hürzeler is superb continuity, the players that fit Potter will still fit now. Just a top class club.
The thing is, selecting a playing identity, and identifying the individuals that fit that identity, is probably the easiest part of it. It's weird that they don't seem to be able to do that.they’re executing well.
we talk the talk but with people who don’t know how to execute it
They should be very happy.

I don't care either how do Brighton fans think of it?

Yeah we could be due a surprise. At the end of the day there's about 4 people who know, the rest is just guess work and hearsayI do wonder if we arent all in for a bit of a surprise. Appointment not even mentioned? I wouldnt be surprised at all. There are so many options that would make sense.
Because you see people dismissing coaches based upon things that are irrelevant and an extremely smart club like Brighton dismissing them things proves that they are irrelevant. Things like experience in the league, standard they have coached at and age are things i've seen people dismiss potentially excellent coaches for us for.Maybe they are maybe not don't get the relevance
Still don't get what that's got to do with our new manager search mind.
You're ignoring a hell of a lot of positive comments on there. As one of them says, football is meant to be fun and this appointment is fun. This is the latest post on their forum ...
... I wonder how his appointment would go down on Sunderland forums.
"Finding it difficult to share some of the excitement. Seems to be based on him coming from a trendy club, playing a similar style and being a left-field appointment.
On the flip side, he’s younger than several of our senior players with no experience of coaching at the top level or of English football. He’s going to have to be pretty good from the off to command respect.
As always, I’ll trust that Tony Bloom knows best and can pull another rabbit out of the hat - but it’s certainly a risk when you compare it to the type of CV our other Premier League bosses boasted. It’s… interesting. Hopefully a stroke of genius."

Could well be the case. I can see the point of recruiting on the basis of resale value, but to increase their value, players have to play and impress. So, if that is the policy it's a highly flawed one. Obviously.Im not actually sure we want to do it. We say we do. I’m not convinced we’ve even tried and failed. I think we have purely recruited players that have resale value and hoped a head coach can put them together and make something work.
So why not post a bunch of them instead of a singular one? Weren't you joining in the ****e from the other day aimed at me and others for apparently using particular things and ignoring others to invent narratives? Almost as if you do the exact same thing. No I'm not, I looked and that was the latest, 4 minutes earlier ...
... just as I said.

So, most teams seem to be appointing managers weeks after their previous one left, yet here we are still pissing about. The tow the line response will be well we need to make sure we get the right man. But those other clubs will be in the same boat. Why are we so different? Something not sitting right with me. Just my opinion mind before anyone goes all in.

I get that. The trouble I have is I don't really trust the powers that be to get it right.because of the absolute sh1t show after TM went...guess we are all hoping it means they are getting this one right so i am siding with the club atm.
