Does Jansen have any truth to it or is it just a rumour? I know he interviewed at Norwich the other week.
if they had Signed Simms last January i reckon we would have went up, £190 m for promotion is it, you have to gamble sometimes, i bet no striker is signed for the new season.
So monty you reckon we should have pushed the boat out, and signed Simms to be our new Head Coach. Well it certainly would have been a gamble. I think he would have been better as our centre forward. Now go back otr and fish over there, theres a good boy
Actually, to be sincerely honest in my humble opinion, without being sentimental and of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, and without lies to the actual truth, with my clear open mind and clean heart, expressing what ever is embedded inside me for a long time which I didn't say because I was nervous. But today by gathering all the courage and motivation, I just want to say that I actually feel and think that I have absolutely nothing to say. Thank you!
Didn't even bother googling the Sunderland news this morning. That's where I'm up to with my expectations. Irritability rising.
You posted that at midnight so it's impossible to know which day you mean. If it's yesterday the answer in no ... ... if it's today then yes it's possible
There seems to be a lot of posters (some I have not seen on here before and some not seen for a long time and some regular posters who seem upset by the time it is taking to get any decision on the new HC). It is understandable as it does seem to be taking longer than expected, the trouble is nobody really knows what is happening so the ire and anger is based on very little information and mostly based around rumour and conjecture or the odd post on X from some unknown keyboard warrior/half journalist's. IMO it would be nice to have a statement from the club but as we know they tend to play the cards close to the chest these days and to be honest as much as that is frustrating it seems a lot more professional. Some of the wild statements that have shown up like sacking of people or selling the club are just basically mad when you consider that at this time we could sell 2 players this summer for more than the club was valued at 3 years ago (just for a little perspective). I think the key words this season will be confidence, stability and patience. And I know a lot of our fans have been patient but the improvements at the club are there to see if people care to look past the first team. We are not in as bad a place as some would have us believe and a bit of perspective may well make our fanbase a little more positive. If it is Will Still (if he comes great as I think he would be a good fit) and we have to wait a few more days then fair enough, if it is not him then we move forward with our next choice don't look back and drive the club forward again. There is a lot happening at the club, but once again all the focus is on a perceived negative (which may not be anything like is being portrayed) and there are some who have seemingly crawled out of the woodwork to have a cheap dig and then crawl back in when confronted. That is what pisses me off not the waiting.
No Smug...it was at 12.01am ie today.. Fine margins, but I am getting thoroughly pissed off with th whole procedure since Uncle Tone was given his marching orders. The idea of a DoF was surely that there would be a seamless transition if the Head Coach had to be sacked.. Well that went well and as we can see the plans were all in place eh?
