As had previously been revealed, Walter was keen to add his Hamburg assistant Julian Hübner as his number two at the MKM Stadium. Those deals have now been signed off and Hubner will be unveiled alongside Walter, with Filip Tapalovic also coming in to work as first team coach. As had also previously been reported, there will be a role for Andy Dawson in the new coaching structure, with the ex-City player staying on as first team coach and an important bridge between the players and the new staff.

Was just thinking, when did he join? Rare these days for an assistant to stay on under various managers. Ryan Mason at spurs another that comes to mind.

Wonder if the club and Cranswick will be doing that or something similar as street food for the first game

Currywurst with a good, strong German beer is one of the better fast foods. As like everything else, always tastes better in the country that does them originally than attempts back home.

Surely he’d want a lot of input into the fitness training, especially when his style looks like it will demand a lot? Surely that input would be more than a phone call?

So two first team coaches? One who has previously worked with the regime. Sounds like a way of squeezing him out, without having to pay compensation?

Yes. Hard to find. I have to get it in cans. Can’t think of any pubs round my way selling it. What was my dad’s local when he was alive stopped selling it when it was sold and became a free house. And a pub in town, which Roger Tighe had at one time, which was renowned for its Tetleys and the first port of call for Wesies on fishing trips is also now a free house with all sorts of fancy drinks on the counter and John Smith’s not Tetleys.

PS. Just had a look. A fair trek to get a pint of Tetleys these days. http://breweryhistory.com/wiki/inde...ley:_List_of_Pubs_in_North_and_East_Yorkshire

As long as it's not wheat beer, tried it in Germany and Austria and it doesn't appeal to my superior taste buds. :emoticon-0125-mmm:
