I heard there was change as well mate and that it was agreed that still, his brother and 2 coaches were coming in (a fitness coach n 1st team coach)

If theyve gone back on that to keep dodds n proctor then its a total shocker

Yeah mate. That's my news. Even if they try now, any good coach would say , do one. You've had your chance.

Michael Walker (Athletic) is a great source with contacts at the club.

Gutted about Still...shows the model is inflexible..
And/or the people operating it who were the same last year but we’ve gone into tje window with no apparent change. It’s like self harm after last year

Everyone’s saying the same thing and has been for weeks but it can’t be true because the owner himself hasn’t came out with a statement confirming it. Come on mate the writing is on the wall he wants to keep that nugget amongst the set up because he’s mates with the Bellinghams.

The Bellingham people have just said he's selling?

We will be in for a f*cking long season again if it has fallen through due to inflexibility. If he goes to Lens I really hope Still comes out and mentions the reasons why.

he doesn’t seem the type to keep it quiet. Will be on a podcast about it pretty soon

Not being funny but the rigid model has been discussed loads on here and people refused to accept that it was an issue. Well here we are. Makes it works that Dodds , Proctor and Speakman are not worth keeping anyway.

Obsession with progression my arse. More like the Birmingham boys club.
I feel like most have said they want flex with the model, I certainly do. I can understand the club being firm with player profile overall (yes need more experience) but we have to give some leeway with the head coach position or we just aren't going to attract the highest quality for that position and its the most important one to get right. What kind of candidate is going to take this job if all these restrictions are in place? The Michael Beale types I fear.

Interesting that Michael Walker has quite openly had a dig at how Speakman / KLD are running this. That’s quite big. Might provoke a response of sorts.

Yep. And the constant battle to keep it in place means stuff get drawn out and other clubs get their sniff.
