I agree Smug.....I can get by in French, Italian and Spanish ( Latin A level ) but Portuguese completely defeats me.
The only quote I have seen is that they said they would be reluctant to pay a transfer fee for any players over 26-27 years of age as value in general starts to depreciate at 30-31 years of age which would generally be end of contract. I’m now not so bothered about the next manager. Sometime in the next few months we will appoint Beale’s replacement and whoever it is they will get my support. I would like Cooper or Bo Diddley but Still and Maric are also ok. KLD and KS are both trying to do the right thing and we should trust them. They want this to work as well as us.
