I agree Smug.....I can get by in French, Italian and Spanish ( Latin A level ) but Portuguese completely defeats me.Some people seem to find the 'multi-lingual' aspect of Still to be irrelevant as we only have three or four French speakers. That's a bit disingenuous imo. From his background he'll be fluent in English, Flemish, French, Dutch and therefore German.
I know, from my own experience, that if you speak decent French you can communicate in Italian, Spanish and all the 'Latin languages' to a degree although Portuguese had me beat tbh ...
... whatever the case he'll be fluent in English, something I'm not convinced Heckingbottom has yet mastered

The only quote I have seen is that they said they would be reluctant to pay a transfer fee for any players over 26-27 years of age as value in general starts to depreciate at 30-31 years of age which would generally be end of contract. Other than that age profiles have not been mentioned that I can remember.
Also The model as fans like to call it has been mentioned by KS and he clarified it last year by saying that we wanted to build a team capable of realising the clubs ambitions and we are not a selling club.

I had a beautiful Portuguese girlfriend once but had to do 'a Mowbray' and leave her on the sidelines or subs bench at best. She couldn't speak any English but was great to come on down the middle for 20 minutes

We've all been there mate. I shared a flat with a mate of mine....I came back from playing footy and he'd been shagging a lovely blonde lass all afternoon.I came out the bath....(no showers in those days!)...and she was there waiting for another session.
