been told henderson is in very early discussions about coming home, don't know if it will happen or if if it's likely to happen

It's the perfect time for it. He's attainable and he's good enough to make a difference. He's one of the best leaders on a football pitch in a generation and one mistake does not erase everything that defines him as a good man! Imagine what Rigg, Jobe and Ekwah could learn from him man, but not just them, his standards will be off the scale compared to what this club is used to.

My first ITK post:

my brother just bumped into trai Hume in a Belfast bar (seen the pic as proof) and he’s told him he’s staying next season!

Caution, my brother is a canny lightweight so could be talking ****e.

Trai is class. A very good footballer with a huge work ethic and drive. He's future captain material of this club if we can keep progressing together.

Unless Ajax allow a free transfer i'm not so sure this will happen. He has another 2 years left on his deal at Ajax.

Obviously would be great if it happens and he can still cut it, which I think he can.
Talk in holland of his deal being terminated, they are up against it financially due to missing out on champions league n europa league football.

I was chatting to a scout at my club, used to be at Ajax, and he reckons Henderson will be released

Its the off field stuff in particular that id want him here for - i have no doubt he would still help on the pitch too mind

He has been an unreal pro and leader and it can only be a good thing getting him back

Agreed. He'll show the talented youth in our ranks what it takes to be a winner. In fairness, he'll probably show the owner, DOF, and backroom staff the standards required as well. He'd be worth paying a transfer fee for imo.

Have you seen the options City have in defence? <laugh> They let Cole Palmer leave too…

Yeah but to loan him to the championship 4 times (thought it was 3) and sending him back after he’s already won promotion then letting him go for £20m. You’d think they would’ve looked for a better loan this season if they rated him. Think Palmer was a bit different he’d been in and around the first team and told them he wanted to leave for more game time

Only if he wants to be, can’t just kick him out.

I think he is open to it though

He just wants to play football and i think he will be getting phased out at Ajax - obviously they have a new manager so that might change but they have to get rid of players

He’s also probably resigned to the fact he’s not going to cut it at the highest level anymore. Could potentially get a lower premier league side - but I’d imagine he’d prefer to be here if we can make it work IMO.

This, this and this.

He's been there and done it all, it'd be like Corry Evans on crack. Imagine what he could do for Dan Neil.

@ektastottenham
Spurs are considering loans for Lankshear and Veliz. Scarlett staying is dependent on a sale for Richarlison's exit. Lankshear has drawn interest from Middlesbrough, QPR and Sunderland.

19 year old striker who hasn’t kicked a ball in senior football. I’ll be gutted if that’s the type we’re targeting - again.
