I refuse to get excited about any of our so called head coach targets.

We used to attract actual proven managers, no matter what league we were in.

Now everyone is excited over managers that have either zero games experience or one season. Its total bonkers.

Football has changed that way though. It's not about man management anymore as much as it's about style of play and management philosophy. Look at Kompany, Maresca, McKenna De Zerbi, all getting linked to jobs well above their experience level.

How is it bonkers?

Just because a manager is experienced doesnt mean they are good - wilkinson, moyes, oneill, grayson, parkinson, all very experienced managers but were shocking with us

I think its exciting going away from the norm, will it work? Who knows but for me its showing ambition by going against the grain and trying to find that high potential manager

Will Still become an elite manager, who knows but at least hes got the potential but someone who already has good experience as a head coach already

In our position you either get someone on the come up but at the start of their journey or a steady pair of hands that’s not blown people away, faultless managers aren’t coming to the championship, I’d prefer the former to the latter a risk worth taking 100%

Woke up to dozens of messages including a response from a question I'd asked about why Still would announce that he was at Wembley as a spectator only. It appears that his leaving conditions from Reims, and presumably a final payoff, most likely depend on an NDA and various agreements regarding work including scouting, assessments, talking to players, etc. The Twitter message was to Reims was the answer I got ... makes sense.

That’s the main thing, Still seems a straight talker which will resonate with us, I think we need a long term, I hate the phrase but ‘project’ I’m hoping the fact he’s bringing a team in means we’re both in it for the long hall
Aye and backed means get him the right players to win matches with as well as the fans not being overly critical.

That picture is off the mag parody Twitter page of the spirit of 37, people need to start realising who is behind the page, a sad mag ****er

Faked as far as I can tell. It's not on his account with those words.
It’s a mag page, every post they hashtag nufc , people need to start realising this and stop reposting their ****.

There was a news item on the BBC, at the weekend, saying how AI, computer generation, etc.

It was frightening.

There's supposed to be a mental health crisis. post Covid, etc, and this won't help ...

... we're hurtling towards the point where we can't be sure of anything.

I had a scam email, last December, from an 'ex-employer', that had personal details and a message saying I was due a £1500 payment that had been missed when I left. All I had to do was send my bank details and pay a £50 admin fee. If I was a bit more gullible, and skint at Christmas, I might've just gone for it.

When I asked a clever mate he says my ex-boss would've most likely had his emails hacked at which point they send emails to people in their address list. By the law of averages they'll have enough 'results' to make it highly profitable without actually doing much work.
